PCPT have secured full planning permission and listed building consent for the restoration and conversion of the wonderful former Technical Institute and Carnegie Public Library in Brierley Hill.
The scheme will provide twenty double-storey apartments within a five-minute walk of Brierley Hill town centre.
The incredible grade II listed building with its fine terracotta mouldings and sculptures was designed to accommodate a Public Free Library and a technical college which served to train the many apprentices of the local glass industry, as a centre for creativity and education.
We are looking forward to seeing this beautiful building resorted and loved once more, preserving a local icon of industry and creativity, whilst creating beautiful spaces in which to live.
