Cook Street Gate

Completed in 1385 as part of the Medieval town wall, Cook Street Gate is a beautiful landmark in historic Coventry, with Grade I listing and also forming part of a Scheduled Ancient Monument.

Our clients Historic Coventry Trust appointed PCPT to develop a scheme for overnight accommodation within the two surviving medieval gatehouses in Coventry.

Thanks to the Historic Coventry Trust and PCPT Architects, Cook Street Gate is now a unique place to stay in Coventry! The carefully balanced design retains the character of a medieval gatehouse, combined with modern luxury to provide high-quality, self-contained holiday accommodation.
